Decide For Yourself on Holyhead & Anglesey Development Plans.

Let Holyhead and Anglesey be redeveloped and create jobs for the future. (Like our page)

There are a number of proposed plans put down by - Land and Lakes - Lateral Power, Marstons and Horizon Nuclear Power/Wylfa B that have made headlines locally of late.

This is a group for the people of Anglesey to voice their opinions, show their support for the proposed developments on Anglesey and provide further information for you to make your own decisions on these proposals.


Anglesey's Current Situation

  • Holyhead in 2009 was labelled as the British high street with the highest proportion of vacant shops
  • Homelessness in Wales has hit a five year high.
  • On Anglesey, the gap in life expectancy in males between the most and least deprived fifth is nearly 7 years
  • Anglesey has been the poorest county in the whole of the United Kingdom for the past decade – poorer than the South Wales Valleys.
  • While the average prosperity per head for the UK is currently £19,430, in Anglesey it is currently £10,560 per head – roughly half the national UK average.
  • Hundreds of jobs have been lost over the last few year
